Dimensions: Weld or clamp ends manually operated, or pneumatic.
Material
Body: 316L stainless steel
Handle: Plastic material (PBT) or stainless steel
Diaphragm: PTFE diaphragm with elastomer core, EPDM (silicone and Viton® also available).
Pneumatic actuator: 304 stainless steel
Viton® is a registered trademark of DuPont Dow Elastomers.
Signal back equipment
Control box on the top of the actuator, (limit switches or proximity switches).
Surface finish
External RA = 150 Grit, 35 RA
Internal RA = 180 Grit standard, 25 RA
400 Grit available, 10 RA
Electro polishing available
Working conditions
  • Temperature: max 140o C (min. 0o C for the PTFE diaphragm).
  • Working pressure: 150PSI for elastomer diaphragm at 20o C
  • 120PSI for PTFE diaphragm at 20o C.
  • Fatigue strength: 100,000 for elastomer diaphragm, 40,000 for plastomer diaphragm.
